Creative Work

During the COVID-19 Pandemic I built three titanium bicycles from frame spec. Custom bikes required custom bags which lead to to the sewing machine and a dive into the world of Make your Own Gear (MYOG).

These efforts were jumpstarted through a partnership with Ripstop By The Roll, an outdoor fabric supplier that specializes in the lightweight and durable materials used by MYOG makers. In 2022, I was a recipient of the Ripstop By The Roll Maker Sponsorship based on the a concept design for a Haenyeo-themed bag.

Since then, we have expanded our sewing program to include 3 textile units in Grades 7, 8, and 9. I have also supported textile-based MYP Personal Projects and PYP Exhibition groups.
